Zusammenfassung:	Disclosed is a sound wave detection device including a signal generator for generating a plurality of sound wave signals having different frequencies; a transmitter for transmitting the plurality of sound wave signals; a receiver for receiving an echoed sound wave signal among the sound wave signals; and a controller for emitting a first sound wave signal of the plurality of sound wave signals and transmitting a second sound wave signal having a frequency different from that of the first sound wave signal through the transmitter in a search period of the first sound wave signal, wherein the search period is a value obtained by dividing a value obtained by doubling a maximum detection distance by a sound speed.
