Zusammenfassung:At least one embodiment relates to a lift device including a chassis, a series of tractive elements coupled to the chassis, an implement, and a boom coupling the implement to the chassis. The boom includes (a) a first shell including a first sidewall and a first transition coupling a first set of flanges to the sidewall and (b) a second shell including a second sidewall and a second transition coupling a second set of flanges to the sidewall. The first shell abuts the second shell along the first set of flanges and the second set of flanges. The first transition and the second transition extend along a length of the boom. The first transition and the second transition at least partially define a channel. The first shell is coupled to the second shell by a weld positioned within the channel.
