Zusammenfassung:Embodiments of the present disclosure include pluggable optical transceiver modules comprising a first interface on a proximate end and eight (8) sockets arranged on a distal end. A first portion of the pluggable optical transceiver module including the proximate end is inserted into a port. A second portion, including the distal end extends outside the port. In one embodiment, an OSFP optical transceiver module include sockets for eight (8) SN or MDC connectors.
