Zusammenfassung:	A surgical instrument bolt for use with an orthopaedic prosthesis inserter includes a bolt head and a bolt shaft that extends away from the bolt head. The bolt shaft includes a threaded end and a shank located between the threaded end and the bolt head. The bolt shaft also includes an inner surface that defines an axial passageway that extends through at least a portion of the bolt shaft. In some embodiments, the axial passageway may extend completely through the bolt shaft and bolt head or may be embodied as a blind passageway in other embodiments.
