Zusammenfassung:An aerosol-generating device is provided, including: a housing defining a mouthpiece end, a distal end, a sidewall between the mouthpiece end and the distal end, and a chamber within the housing, the chamber being configured to receive a liquid container, the housing including retention means configured to retain the liquid container within the housing, the retention means including a magnetic retention mechanism; and a power source disposed within the housing, the sidewall of the housing defining an insertion window through which the liquid container is positionable inside the chamber. An aerosol-generating system and a liquid container are also provided.
