Zusammenfassung:	A vehicular display device includes: an image display unit having a display screen capable of displaying an image at least in a part thereof; an image generation unit for generating the image to be displayed by the image display unit; and a projection unit for projecting the image toward a transparent windshield of a vehicle so that the image is reflected by the transparent windshield of the vehicle such that a user seated in the driver seat of the vehicle can view a virtual image. In accordance with a viewpoint position of the user, the image generation unit determines a length for display content in a use area of the display screen of the image display unit in a direction corresponding to a horizontal direction, the use area being an area used for displaying the image.
