Zusammenfassung:	A detection device for a spindle of a machine tool is provided, wherein the spindle includes an insertion hole. The detection device includes a contact housing, a main housing, a sensor, and a process module. The contact housing has a first chamber, and the first chamber has an inner surface. The main housing is connected to the contact housing, and has a second chamber communicated with the first chamber. The sensor is disposed in the first chamber and connected to the inner surface. The process module is disposed in the second chamber and electrically connected to the sensor. When the contact housing is inserted into the insertion hole of the spindle, the sensor is configured to detect the deformation of the contact housing and generate a detection signal. The process module generates a determination signal according to the detection signal.
