METHOD OF MANUFACTURING ANTI-SOILING CARPET, AND ANTI-SOILING CARPET

To provide a method for manufacturing an antifouling carpet having sufficient antifouling property and water repellency in spite of using a non-fluorine-based antifouling finishing agent and to provide an antifouling carpet.SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing an antifouling carpet comprises a step of treating a carpet with a treatment liquid including an antifouling finishing agent. In the method, the antifouling finishing agent includes a non-fluorine-based polymer (α) and a non-fluorine-based polymer (β) in which the non-fluorine-based polymer (α) includes a constitutional unit derived from a monomer represented by formula (A-1) in a specific ratio and further includes a constitutional unit derived from another specific (meth)acrylic acid ester monomer and the non-fluorine-based polymer (β) includes a constitutional unit derived from at least one kind of monomer of methyl methacrylate and ethyl methacrylate in a specific ratio and further includes a constitutional unit derived from another specific (meth)acrylic acid ester monomer.
