Zusammenfassung:	The present invention is related to a stripping tool for a cable the stripping tool including a cutting unit with at least one blade, a cable seat, and a kinematic structure. The kinematic structure is operatively coupled with the cutting unit to move a cable that is received by the cable seat and a cutting edge of the at least one blade with respect to each other radially to and rotationally around a tool axis. The invention is further related to a method for stripping a cable and a cable having a stripped cable end section.
