Zusammenfassung:	A nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery according to one example of an embodiment includes: a wound electrode assembly in which a positive electrode (11) and a negative electrode (12) are wound with at least one separator (13) interposed therebetween. In the nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery, an insulating tape (40) is adhered to, of a portion of a positive electrode lead (19) extending past one end of a positive electrode collector (30), at least a range facing the negative electrode (12) with the separator (13) interposed therebetween. The insulating tape (40) includes a base material layer, an adhesive layer, and an inorganic particle-containing layer formed therebetween, and the inorganic particle-containing layer contains 20 percent by weight or more of inorganic particles with respect to the weight of the layer described above.
