A composite drug delivery material may include a plurality of microparticles dispersed in a media composition. The microparticles may contain a drug and a coating comprising a bioerodible material or a biodegradable material, and the media composition includes the drug dispersed in a depot-forming material. The media composition may gel or solidify upon injection into the eye.
