Zusammenfassung:	A printer having a printing unit that prints an image; a light emitting unit capable of switching colors of light emission; and a processor configured to: acquire an image to be printed from an external device; detect representative colors of regions by dividing the image to be printed by the printing unit into a plurality of regions; and control light emission of the light emitting unit, wherein the processor further configured to cause the light emitting unit to switch colors of the light emission based on the representative colors of the regions in order according to a printing progress of the image to be printed by the printing unit.
