Zusammenfassung:	An assembly includes a main support having integrated therein first and second fastening devices, an intermediate support and a scale, as well as third and fourth fastening devices. The scale has a measuring graduation disposed in a measuring graduation plane and adapted for position measurement in a longitudinal direction. The first fastening device is designed to hold the intermediate support on the main support at a first position such that it is longitudinally fixed, and the second fastening device is designed to hold the intermediate support at a second position such that it is freely movable in the longitudinal direction. The third fastening device is designed to hold the scale on the intermediate support at the first position such that it is longitudinally fixed, and the fourth fastening device is designed to hold the scale at a third position such that it is freely movable in the longitudinal direction.
