The trim ring defines an aperture allowing connection of the trim ring to a main housing of a ventilation system defining an internal region in which a blower is located. The plate is releasably connected to the trim ring to allow access to the trim ring aperture for connection of the trim ring to the main housing or blower and disconnection of the trim ring from the main housing or blower.
