Zusammenfassung:	A piston pump for pumping a pressure medium in an electronically slip-controllable vehicle brake system includes a pressure-medium control valve configured to control a throughflow direction in a pressure medium circuit. The pressure-medium control valve has a valve housing, a valve seat, and a valve-closing body that is received in the valve housing in an axially movable and radially guided manner. The valve-closing body is configured to control the valve seat according to the prevailing pressure ratios upstream and downstream of the valve seat. The valve seat is configured as a single component with the valve housing. The pressure-medium control valve is produced by forming in a compact and cost-effective manner. The pressure-medium control valve operates quietly and is configured to be used alternatively as an independent unit that is configured to be tested prior to use.
