Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to an illumination module for a microscope apparatus, comprising a plurality of monochromatic sources and a control device, wherein the control device is configured to control states of the plurality of the monochromatic sources, and the control device includes a selecting and switching module which realizes a switch among the plurality of monochromatic sources in response to an operation of the user. The design of the illumination module makes the microscope apparatus compact in structure, highly reliable, convenient in use, and extremely enhancing the work efficiency of the user. The present invention also relates to a method for controlling the illumination module, and a microscope apparatus comprising the illumination module.
