Zusammenfassung:	A jack assembly for a towed vehicle is provided. The jack assembly includes an outer tube, an inner tube supported for telescopic movement within the outer tube, a jack screw operatively engaging a jack nut within the inner tube, and a mounting assembly attached to the outer tube for attaching the jack assembly to the towed vehicle. A cover may be positioned over a portion of the outer tube attached to the mounting assembly and supported by the mounting assembly. An L-shaped release pin is utilized and accommodated by the cover. The mounting assembly may be adjustable in height along the outer tube. A reservoir may be provided to facilitate protection of the jack screw by ensuring its lubrication, and a foot having a convex bottom surface may be utilized.
