Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a display device, in particular a provided near-to-eye display device of a user. The display device comprises at least one illumination device, at least one spatial light modulator device, at least one imaging element, at least one light guide, and at least two partially-reflective decoupling elements. The at least one illumination device is used for emitting sufficiently coherent light. The at least one imaging element is provided for imaging light originating from the at least one light modulator device. The at least two partially-reflective decoupling elements, which are provided in the at least one light guide, are used for coupling the light out of the light guide.
