Zusammenfassung: | To provide means for improving cleanability and reducing the wear of a photoreceptor and cleaning blade in an electrophotographic image forming device and an electrophotographic image forming method, irrespective of the presence of a lubricant and the supplied amount of it.SOLUTION: The present invention pertains to an electrophotographic image forming device comprising an electrophotographic photoreceptor, charging means, exposure means, developing means, transfer means, and cleaning means. The electrophotographic photoreceptor has an outermost layer composed of the cured polymer of a composition containing a polymerizable monomer and an inorganic filter, the surface of the outermost layer having a recessed structure due to the bulging of the inorganic filter. A toner contains a toner base particle and a metal oxide particle that is an external additive externally added to the toner base particle. The toner base particle is covered 70% or more with the metal oxide particle that is an external additive, the average height R(nm) of protrusions of the outermost layer, the average inter-protrusion distance R(nm) of recessed structure due to the bulging of inorganic filler of the outermost layer, and the approximate true-sphere radius R(nm) of the toner satisfying a prescribed relationship.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
