Zusammenfassung:	According to one embodiment, an information processing apparatus includes a first display control unit and a second display control unit. The first display control unit displays a visual representation in a screen for setting a first SIP server and a second SIP server connected to an IP-FAX terminal on a display unit. The second display control unit displays a first connection state between the IP-FAX terminal and the first SIP server and a second connection state between the IP-FAX terminal and the second SIP server on the display unit, based on completion operation of setting of the first SIP server and setting of the second SIP server by a user.
