In an embodiment of the invention, a method for automated customer interest processing in a CRM application includes establishing a communicative connection between a CRM application executing in memory of a host computing system and different feeds of different social media web sites and storing customer information of one or more customers of the CRM application in memory of the host computing system, which includes one or more customer social media profiles of each of the customers. The method further includes monitoring customer social media data of the customer social media profiles and associated posts and, responsive to detecting a personal interest in the social media data, indicating the personal interest of the customer in the customer information of the customer. |
