Zusammenfassung: | Recommended route change verification via a navigation system. The navigation system receives a destination from a user and then determines an initial route to the destination. While navigating along the initial route, the navigation system can determine a route change to the destination. Also, a convergence point is determined along where the initial route and the first route change converge. In order to verify that the route change is faster than continuing along the initial route, a first group of users utilizing the navigation system are routed along the initial route to the convergence point and a second group of other users are routed along the first route change to the convergence point. If more of the first group of users pass the convergence point before the second group of users, then the route change is recommended to the user rather than continuing along the initial route. |
