Zusammenfassung:	The present disclosure relates to oxidation catalyst compositions which provide for oxidation of pollutants in an exhaust gas stream of an internal combustion engine. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to oxidation catalyst compositions which provide for oxidation of hydrocarbons (HC), carbon monoxide (CO) and nitrogen oxides (NOx) while minimizing N2O formation. The oxidation catalyst compositions include a platinum group metal (PGM) component, a metal component selected from alkali and alkali earth metals, and support material on which the PGM component and metal component are supported.
