A knowledge production system includes: a data reception part that receives, when an event occurs in a unit, only data after a time at which to go back only a preset time until the occurrence of the event; and a production part that extracts, from the received data and data received in the past by the occurrence of the same event as the event, a feature amount on the event so as to produce knowledge information of the event.
