Zusammenfassung: | [Problem] The purpose of the present invention is to provide a lens (luminous flux control member) for an optical element of a backlight, the orientation of which can easily be aligned in a surface direction. [Solution] This luminous flux control member is characterized as follows. The luminous flux control member has a lens body and a plurality of legs. The lens body has, on a lower surface side thereof, an incidence region on which light emitted from a light-emitting element is incident, and has, on an upper surface side thereof, an emission region from which the incident light from the incidence region is emitted to the outside. The legs are for enabling mounting on a substrate on which the light-emitting element is mounted. The legs are disposed on the lower surface of the lens body so as to downwardly protrude and satisfy the following condition 1 or condition 2. (Condition 1) With respect to two grooves having different widths, at least one of the legs is accommodated in one groove and all of the remaining legs are accommodated in the other groove only in the case where the lens body is oriented in one prescribed direction or the reverse of that direction. (Condition 2) With respect to one groove, the lens body or all the legs are accommodated in the groove only in the case where the lens body is oriented in one prescribed direction or the reverse of that direction. |
