Zusammenfassung:	An acetabular orthopaedic prosthesis and method are disclosed. The acetabular orthopaedic prosthesis includes a shell configured to engage a surgically-prepared surface of a patient's acetabulum. The shell includes one or more mounting holes that extend through the inner surface and the outer surface. A plurality of plugs are configured to be coupled to the shell, and each plug is sized to be positioned in at least one of the mounting holes of the shell. A bone screw is configured to be inserted through one of the plurality of plugs into the surgically-prepared surface to secure the shell to the patient's acetabulum.
