Zusammenfassung:A visibility evaluation unit of a light intensity adjustment apparatus calculates, for a detected object ahead of a moving body detected by a non-visible light sensor such as a laser range sensor, a visibility evaluation value resulting from evaluation of visibility, based on image data obtained by a visible light sensor such as a camera. A light intensity adjustment unit of the light intensity adjustment apparatus adjusts the light intensity of headlights for illuminating an area in which the detected object is present in accordance with the calculated visibility evaluation value.
