Zusammenfassung:Pre-initiated tips for handheld laser surgical devices and methods related to the same are disclosed herein. Some embodiments include a handpiece device including a tubular body; and an insert that fits within the tubular body, the insert having a terminal end that comprises a receiver. A disposable tip couples with the terminal end of the receiver, and the disposable tip has a fiber optic conduit extending from a sheath tip. In some instances the fiber tip is pre-initiated with a pigment.
