Zusammenfassung:	This disclosure provides a sliding sleeve apparatus that has a flow inhibitor that slows the fluid flow between the interior passageway of the sliding sleeve and the well annulus to allow pressure equalization between the interior passageway of the sliding sleeve and the well annulus to occur prior to placing the sliding sleeve in a fully open position. The inhibited or restricted fluid flow reduces wear on the seals and other components of the sliding sleeve, which extends the operative life of the tool.
