Zusammenfassung:	A printing apparatus is provided. The apparatus comprises a print unit that performs printing using a consumable, a determiner that determines that a remaining amount of the consumable in a container housing the consumable is lower than an amount, and a controller that, upon a condition where it is determined that the remaining amount of the consumable is less than the amount and it is determined that order information for the consumable is yet to be transmitted, causes the order information of the consumable to be transmitted, and causes a memory provided in the container to store information indicating that the order information has been sent, wherein, if the information indicating that the order information has been sent is not stored in the memory, the controller determines that the order information is yet to be transmitted.
