Zusammenfassung:	A method and/or system for reducing glass failures following tempering from inclusions, such as nickel sulfide based inclusions. During at least part of a cooling down period of a thermal tempering process, additional energy is directed at inclusion(s), such as nickel sulfide based inclusion(s), in the glass. The glass may be soda-lime-silica based float glass. The additional energy may be in the form of, for example, visible and/or infrared (IR) light from at least one light source that is directed toward the nickel sulfide based inclusion(s).
