Zusammenfassung:	An in-the-ear hearing aid, the hearing aid having a first end and a second end, the hearing aid includes: a microphone configured to receive sound; a processing unit configured to provide a processed audio signal for compensating a hearing loss of a user; an output transducer for providing an acoustic output, wherein the microphone and the output transducer are coupled to the processing unit; an antenna that is closer to the first end than to the second end of the hearing aid; a wireless communication unit coupled to the antenna; and a polarization element configured for forming a polarization of the antenna, where the polarization element is between the first end and the second end of the hearing aid.
