Zusammenfassung:	The present invention relates to the method of rational design for generic antisense oligonucleotide libraries for genome-wide screening, particularly in the research area for antisense pharmaceutical lead discovery and validation. The libraries are being constructed systematically. The building block is antisense codon. The present invention is aimed at overcoming the drawbacks of both oligonucleotide libraries constructed according to algorithm of 4.sup.n and randomized libraries at the same time. It is applicable for all cells, tissues, organs and organisms with necessary judgments.
