Zusammenfassung:Operation of a cutting mechanism provides an annular gasket or washer from a suitable solid gasket or washer material. The cutting mechanism includes a body defining a passage with an opening and a cutting head. The cutting head translationally retracts into the passage through the opening and projects from the passage through the opening along a longitudinal axis of the mechanism. The cutting head carries multiple cutters and can be selectively rotated about the axis when projecting through the opening from the passage. The position of each of the cutters is adjustable along a radial range of distances from the axis to correspondingly set an inner diameter and an outer diameter of the gasket or washer.
