The scoop includes a handle and a receptacle. The base member is configured to receive the scoop. The temporal display is attached to one of the scoop or the base member and displays a first temporal message when the scoop is in a first orientation relative to the base member and a second temporal message when the scoop is manipulated from the first orientation to a second orientation relative to the base member.
