Zusammenfassung:	In non-limiting examples of the present disclosure, systems, methods and devices for surfacing one or more location-based messaging groups are presented. Geolocation information associated with a current location of a client computing device may be sent to a group messaging service. A request to identify one or more location-based messaging groups corresponding to the current location of the client computing device may be sent from a group messaging application to the group messaging service. Information associated with one or more location-based messaging groups for which the current location of the client computing device meets a location-based threshold may be received from the group messaging service, and the one or more location-based messaging groups for which the current location of the client computing device meets the location-based surfacing threshold may be surface on a display of the client computing device.
