Zusammenfassung:	In accordance with an example embodiment, there is disclosed herein an example of using a distributed ledger to track a chain of custody. In accordance with another example embodiment, there is disclosed herein an example of using a distributed ledger that can allow for aggregation of data from multiple sources while maintaining without disclosing the source of individual data records. In yet another example embodiment, there is disclosed herein an example of using a distributed ledger for smart financial institution products such as loan origination. In still yet another example embodiment, there is described herein an example of using a distributed ledger to track debt information.
