Zusammenfassung:	A power converter provided with a current detection circuit on a DC bus. A power semiconductor module is connected between the wiring pattern of the positive potential of the DC bus and the wiring pattern of the negative potential thereof. The smoothing capacitor and the snubber capacitor are connected between the wiring pattern of the positive potential of the DC bus and the wiring pattern of the negative potential thereof. The current detection circuit is connected between the power semiconductor module and the snubber capacitor employing the wiring pattern of the negative potential of the DC bus.
