Zusammenfassung:The use of a binder resin for a secondary battery electrode which is a polymer characterized by containing, as polymer-constituent monomer units, a vinyl cyanide monomer unit at a ratio of 50 to 99.99% by mole and a phosphoric acid group-containing monomer unit at a ratio of 0.01 to 50% by mole, and preferably having a mass-average molecular weight of 200,000 to 3,000,000 makes it possible to obtain a battery in which the in-battery electrochemical stability of the vinyl cyanide monomer unit is exhibited, while the phosphoric acid group-containing monomer unit exhibits an excellent binding property to a current collector to improve the flexibility of the current collector.
