The apparatus retrieves health and performance data of one or more hypervisors of the VDI system from a data store. The apparatus also determines that a first hypervisor of the one or more hypervisors is in an alert condition based on the health and performance data. The apparatus then sends an alert message in accordance with the alert condition to an alert destination.
