Zusammenfassung:Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide apparatus and methods for emulating the Alamouti structure or a similar space-time block code using a single RF chain. A UE may include a RF chain, at least one switching circuit, at least one analog modulator circuit, and a first and second antenna. The output of a RF chain may be coupled to an input of a switching circuit, the output of the switching circuit may be coupled to an input of a first analog modulator circuit, and the output of the first analog modulator circuit coupled to a first and second antenna. A hybrid coupler is one example of an analog modulator circuit.
