Zusammenfassung:Various embodiments of the present disclosure disclose a method and apparatus for sharing a profile image in an electronic device. An electronic device may include a display, a communication module comprising communication circuitry, memory, and a processor. The processor may be configured to identify a trigger related to a change of a profile image, to select an image for the profile image, to identify at least one target object for the sharing of the selected image as a profile image of the electronic device based on sharing information, and to share the selected image with the at least one target object as a profile image of the user of the electronic device.
