Zusammenfassung:	A vehicle communication device includes a vehicle-side communication unit mounted in a vehicle and configured to communicate with a portable terminal device, an operation detection unit configured to detect that a user performs a first operation on an operation target different from the portable terminal device, and a vehicle-side control unit configured to control an in-vehicle device mounted in the vehicle on the basis of input information received from the portable terminal device by the vehicle-side communication unit. The vehicle-side control unit controls the vehicle-side communication unit so that instruction information for causing the portable terminal device to display an input screen for remotely controlling the in-vehicle device serving as a target of a second operation assumed to be performed by the user after the first operation is transmitted to the portable terminal device if the first operation is detected by the operation detection unit.
