A rearview camera is mounted on a rear end of the motor vehicle and captures images of a scene behind the motor vehicle. An electronic processor is communicatively coupled to the display screen and to the rearview camera. The electronic processor processes the images captured by the camera to thereby present on the display screen video content having a virtual camera mount location disposed between the display screen and the rearview camera.
