Zusammenfassung: | This metal-clad laminate is provided with: an insulating layer that is formed of a cured product of a resin composition; and a metal foil that is arranged on one surface or both surfaces of the insulating layer. The resin composition contains: a polyphenylene ether copolymer that has an intrinsic viscosity of 0.03-0.12 dl/g as determined in methylene chloride at 25°C, while having an average of 1.5-3 terminal groups represented by formula (1) or formula (2) per molecule; and a thermal curing agent. In addition, the metal foil comprises a barrier layer which is formed on at least a surface that is in contact with the insulating layer, and which is formed of cobalt. A surface of the metal foil, which is in contact with the insulating layer, has a ten-point average roughness (Rz) of 2.0 μm or less. |
