Zusammenfassung: | Provided is a method for producing a secondary battery provided with the following: an electrolytic solution which contains a metal salt having an alkali metal, an alkaline earth metal or aluminum as a cation and a compound having a chemical structure represented by general formula (1) as an anion and contains a linear carbonate represented by general formula (2); a negative electrode; a positive electrode; and a coating film containing S, O and C on a surface of the negative electrode and/or the positive electrode. The method is characterized by subjecting the secondary battery having the electrolytic solution, the negative electrode and the positive electrode to a specific activation treatment so as to form the coating film.
