Zusammenfassung:The system and method of pupil size independent pupillometry used for assessing critical diagnostic characteristics relating to neurotransmission and neuroactivity as applied to toxin exposure. The system and method utilizes the timing of a response to stimuli for a pupil of an individual, characterizes the timed responses, determines the latency of the timed responses, measures the minimum constriction value for the timed responses; and assesses the timed responses collected to diagnose changes in neurotransmission and neuroactivity for an individual exposed to organophosphate (OP) nerve agents or botulinum toxin (BTX).
