Zusammenfassung:	An energy storage module includes a plurality of cuboid-like energy storage cells, which in a longitudinal direction of the energy storage module are arranged in a row one behind the other and are electrically connected to one another. Each of the energy storage cells has two outer walls that are of the same size and are spaced apart from one another, and each has four narrow connecting walls connecting the outer walls to one another, wherein in each case, a frame-like intermediate element is arranged between two successive energy storage cells, as a result of which two mutually facing outer walls of two successive energy storage cells are spaced apart from one another.
