Zusammenfassung:	A method for processing a transaction at a checkout location, is provided, including the steps of generating a unique identifier associated with the transaction to be displayed on a display of a checkout computing device at the self-checkout location, in response to a payment method selection by a user, receiving a request from a mobile device of the user to complete the transaction, in response to the mobile device receiving transaction details from a portable device, the portable device retrieving the transaction details associated with the transaction by capturing the unique identifier displayed on the display of the checkout computing device, wherein the portable device is wirelessly linked to the mobile device, and processing the request from the mobile device to complete the transaction, wherein the transaction is completed without the user interacting with the mobile device. An associated computer system, computer program product, and portable device is also provided.
