SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANAGING AN ITEM COLLECTION

In various example embodiments, a system and method for managing a collection of items is provided. In example embodiments, an item from an inventory of a user is identified for monitoring. Over a predetermined period of time, a trend for the item and a change in the trend for the item is determined. In response to detecting the change in the trend, an alert is transmitted to a device of the user providing an indication of a time period for selling the item. Based on receiving a response from the user to sell the item during the time period, a listing to sell the particular identified item during the time period is created and published.
